  • Analyze Data and Extract Insights: Explore your data to identify key metrics, trends, and actionable insights that are critical to your business.
  • Create Live Dashboards: Develop real-time dashboards that provide clear, up-to-date metrics to guide your decisions.

With these services, you'll gain timely, accurate information to drive your business forward.

As part of an internship at Gepardec IT Services, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of all articles published on derStandard.at from 2020 to 2024 (~200.000 articles). I developed a pipeline to continuously downloaded all newly published articles, which is explicitly allowed by derStandard.at. From the HTML articles, I extracted data such as the author, publication date, title and applied techniques like lemmatization and stemming to obtain a representative set of keywords.
Additionally, I extracted new features from the data by using an AI-sentiment-analysis-model to generate sentiment scores, indicating the articles' tone as negative, neutral, or positive.

Daily Amount and Length of Articles

Further, I performed extensive analyses on the extracted data, creating networks based on the most frequently occurring words. I examined different categories, such as politics, science and sports. Finally, I analyzed time intervals and text lengths of the articles published on derStandard.at, providing a deeper understanding of the content and trends over time.
